    Basically the best glove I've ever owned, only one thing bad i have to say about this glove is the leather finger tips where I pull my string slightly ripped the outside layer of the leather but is still totally protective. I shoot a 65lb hoyt dorado and it is more than enough protection for my fingers. I also shoot my 45lb hoyt buffalo with this glove and have no probs.With this glove I can feel everything perfect. Been shooting trad for over 7 years now and have tried several other gloves this by far has been the best for me.

        Prior to buying this glove for my daughter (I got the small size), I asked other buyers if it could be used left-handed. I was surprised that over six other buyers responded affirmatively.
        The glove is well made. The material is soft and pliable. The reinforced finger tips provide good protection from the string. Stitching doesn't get in the way. Most important, the fit is good.
        My daughter doesn't like a shooting tab and is moving up to the point that bare fingers won't work. The glove has solved this problem. She now is looking forward to moving up from 28 to 38 lbs on her competition recurve.
        I have recommended the glove to others with confidence.

          Being new to archery two gloves were purchased. The first was made of nice deerskin with cordovan leather finger tips. The second was this glove, made of deerskin with deerskin finger tips. This all deerskin glove is very soft, fits nicely (long enough) and appears to be well made. The only question is the smoothness of release. Because the material is so soft it does not appear to be providing as smooth a release as the glove with the cordovan finger tips - which is a much thicker, stiffer leather. Being new to archery, the quality of release is probably an issue with the archer and not the equipment. Would still recommend the glove to others.

            I purchased these gloves as part of an all inclusive package that centered around the Bear Montana 60# longbow.

            I went with these gloves particularly because they looked like the best gloves, protection wise, that didn't seem to be getting too expensive.

            I'll admit that a lot of the terminology was foreign to me, particularly at that point. I didn't understand the difference between deer skin, Cordovan, Buffalo or Elk leather on gloves.

            Since I determined these just wouldn't work with a bow as heavy as mine, I Googled around and found that many others gave the same impression--that it's a great material for a lighter bow (at or under 50#) but that heavier is needed for a heavier bow.

            Service and delivery comments:

            I bounced these gloves off of one of the technical experts at 3R, in context of the bow, and was told that they would work fine. I'm afraid it'll make me second guess advice from now on.

              This glove looks and feels great, but after only a very few shots the index finger started to have roughed up marks. Now the surface is no longer smooth and my release has been compromised. I purchased this along with the adult archery kit, I had wanted the Dura glove but 3Rivers was out of the size I had needed (medium)at the time. Guess I should have waited...
