Huge fan of BW,,, But

3-Rivers is an outstanding company with some of the best customer service in the industry as is Black Widow. I also really enjoy BW bows so I thought I'd give their tabs a try. That said, I wish their tabs were a bit longer. To me there is just a bit of an absence of protection. I bought 2 and am giving one to a friend, using one for personal back-up and going back to my Martin glove. I gave it 5 stars because even though it doesn't work for me, doesn't make it a lesser product. I will continue using 3-Rivers and BW.

I have a pretty big hand so I ordered the large.
For me, the tab was bulky and uncomfortable. I too cut off the top flap that is supposed to go between your top finger and the arrow. But the tab was to thick for me and I didn't have a good feel of the string. So I cut off the last layer of suede leather which was a huge improvement in feel. I also cut about 1/4 inche off of the rear of the tab which took a lot of the bulky feel out of my palm. All this being said the cordovan leather is the way to go. But I was not happy with this tab.

          Just started shooting Black Widow tabs, and I'm very pleased.. Super comfortable, with a smooth release.. I have the superleather and calf-hair versions. Cant decide which I prefer, they're both awesome! The finger-fender is a bonus comfort feature. I love these tabs!

          I use a Damascus glove, wanted to try a tab. This was a really well made tab. I cut the goofy finger protector flap off the top because it added space between my finger and the arrow.The tab has no feel and caused me to have a deeper string pocket and messed up my aim. I like to feel the string, I went back to my Three Rivers glove with the cordura tips.

            I purchased this tab and the cordovan 3 under tab at the same time. This tab seems to have nice construction and is built very well. I was really torn between the two so I just bought both of them. The major difference between the two tabs is that this tab has independent cuts for each finger. It's good quality, but I think for a guy like me that is just getting into tradition archery, this may be a bad thing. The three finger under tab that I used lends itself to a smoother release as it seem to distribute the tension more evenly between fingers. All in all, this is a good quality tab and I was happy with the purchase, but I will be using the other based on personal preference.

              Used to get a sore/numb ring finger after shooting with my glove. I can now shoot for hours at a time with this tab with no soreness. A little stiff initally but that is okay by me. Will last a very long time. Excellent durability.
