    I have been using The Black Widow tab now for probably over 20 years. This is my 3rd one and I have shot several deer and moose here in Canada with this tab. I like the feel of it and it is comfortable to wear especially because it is easy to flip around to the back of your hand. I find this important so I can use my hand without having any obstruction in the way. Other tabs I have tried during practice shooting have not been easy to do this easily. Although I have not really used another tab while hunting, I know that when it is raining, the Black Widow tab works well and is not a problem when it is soaking wet. So after over 20 years of using the Black Widow tab, it still gets a two thumbs up!

          Well made, Quality constuction, Comfortable. My second tab. I wore my calf hair tab out in about 6 months of target shooting. I've had this tab for over a year, and it's still not worn out. The only problem that I've had is the velcro band wore out and I had to fabricate a replacement. The tab itself, is holding up better that I expected. If it ever wears out, I'll buy another.

            Have only shot this for a couple weeks. I'm not sure I like the velcro around my finger and the red pad does not fit well in my hand. I was not sure what size tab I needed so I guessed and purchased a large. Maybe I needed to medium. The tab offers more than enough protection and gives a smooth release.

            Would be a little awkward to hunt with but will work great on the range.

              I've tried various different tabs and gloves, but this one is my favorite out of all of them. It is thick enough to provide excellent protection for my fingers, but not so thick that it is not supple, soft or inflexible. On the contrary, it easily allows me to get a good, deep hook on the bowstring and still provides me with great finger protection. It also provides a very good release. I like it so much I bought an extra one to shoot left-hand (I normally shoot right-hand). The size was also perfect for me. I have what I consider to be medium length fingers. So I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. With other tabs, despite constant trimming, I still get an occasional, painful slap upon release. But with this one, I get no painful slap, and have not had to trim it. Don't know why that is, but this one seems to work great for me. Highly recommend it.

                  Love this tab. I use to shoot gloves, but find myself reaching for this tab more and more often. It fits well, give a good string feel and is durable as all get out. It's also nice to just slip it on my finger and not have to strap anything on like with my gloves. When retrieving arrows, it's easy enough to spin it to the other side of my hand and have full use of my fingers.

                  I've gone through hundreds of shots with this tab and it still shows nearly no wear or tear - all the more impressive since I'm not delicate with my equipment.

                  It is, perhaps, a bit slower in use than my glove, so less suited to hunting, but the difference, I think, would be negligible.

                    I used to shoot exclusively with gloves until a node of an artery in my middle finger became excrutiatingly sensitive to the pressure of the string. Purchased the BW tab in the hope it would protect that blood vessel and allow me to continue. Well it provided immediate relief and though I still feel it is more awkward to use than a glove I'll never go back. Provides adequate sense of the string with great protection and a smooth release. I have no issues with that finger these days. Thank you BW.
