Price was great but this is not a target made of all Rinehart material, only the insert is! My target lasted less then a year, just me shooting at it. My deer split in half because of high and low shots above and below the replaceable insert that material doesn't heal we'll and was the point of failure.Spend the extra $ and get the Broadhead buck its all Rinehart material.I love 3Rivers!!

For the money it is a great target. My friend bought another brand for the same price and this one is so much more superior. When I can afford it I will buy the more expensive targets.

First, I'll give you the facts and then give my opinion. First, if you hit the insert it will heal until it has been hit multiple times in the same spot. Fortunately, you can replace the insert by pulling out the locking pins and installing a new insert. However, repeated hits to the deer body will not heal and will eventually wear through. The three of us shot at it with traditional bows for four months releasing on average of 200-400 arrows a week. One ear was shot off due to an errant shot, and we have had to stake the head on to keep it upright. The antlers never seemed to want to stay on very well. If you hit the leg where the metal stand bar is located, you will blunt your points. If you can consistently hit the insert, the target will last a good while.
