The terrific taper tool!

Good taper tool. It is sharp so it does not chip the cedar arrow which is important. This taper tool is lightweight and compact. All in all, this tool is very good!

Needed something to keep in my field gear. Just for the rare occasion I need to taper a shaft or two. The plus side is, this tool is very light in weight. Consequently its light in construction as well. My first one broke by having the blades twist out with its first use. However 3 rivers C.Service was outstanding in taking care of the issue!     Cuts perfect on cedar shafts. I have read some reviews that it didn't work as well on hardwood shafts but I did some oak and it worked like a charm.

      this is the first time I used and tapered wood/cedar arrows, it works fine I even use it to trim off hardened hot melt glue to reglue point. on one barrel of the tool it has an 11 marked on it thinking this was the 11 degree side, it is not it is the 5 degree side. so far so good.

            puts an excellent taper for nocks and points. cuts clean without the adjustments required by more expensive models. Disposable, but inexpensive enough to buy a few. If you're only doing a few dozen arrows, this is just right.

              Just learning wood arrow making. Only making a small amount of arrows, so this fit the bill, cost wise, and is just right for the task. If i were , or maybe later going to make a larger number of arrows, i will probably get the
              Tru-Center V2 Taper Tool, but for now this handy tool is all the beginner needs.

                          The taper for the nock end works great but the point taper clogs with wood shavings between blade and blue plastic housing all the time. You sent me a second one to replace first one I bought but it too does not work correctly. 23 arrows and they don't cut anymore!! Should have bought the $29 multiple size tool you sell!! And I will on my next order. Thanks for sending the second unit to me!! Your service has always been topnotch.
