I started shooting with a tab on my 45# Kodiak Magnum I had a calf hair and it felt good but I decided to try this on a whim and it was a good wager. my shot has improved and I am getting a more consistent feel on the string which is helping me stay at anchor. I also shoot compound so I enjoy staying at anchor for a few seconds before releasing. this tab is wonderful

Why change a great tab?

Last year when I got this tab I would have rated it a 10 if I could. It was the tab for me. Perfect in every aspect. Now I got a backup tab and find they have already changed it. My current tab has a much thicker cordovan. This new tab is real thin. Some will like it better if they shoot light bows or like more string feel, but others will not like it if they liked the first one. I am in the will not group. I am now kicking myself for not having got a second or even third tab before they changed it. Even the signature leather overlay looks of less quality leather with a faint signature, not that the signature is anything to me, but looks of less quality and probably a different mfr.

I have to ask is the new tab just like the one Fred has used for 20 years? Or is the first one just like Fred's tab? They can't both be just like Fred's.

I felt the first tab was well worth the price, but now the new tab is not better than a Bateman.

It is still a decent tab and I would probably still recommend it, but it is not easy to do now that I feel like a great product was changed up so soon and in my mind may cheaper.

      Without going into too much detail, let me say that I usually shoot a glove. The bow I'm using (long story) has a metal nock on the string and this may be the source of perceived finger pinch. I can't change to a soft nock yet, but when I do I'll stick with Cordovan leather and maybe try a tab with a finger divider. Love the way it releases.

      I have tried several different tabs over the last few years while trying to find the best finger protection for my shooting style. I have never seemed to be able to get comfortable with any tab; either too bulky, too thin, to thick, the list goes on. I have also never felt that i could get a consistent hook or release with tabs. All that changed with this tab! I would never have thought that a tab or glove could boost my confidence in my shooting, but this tab has done just that. I never worry or over think my grip or release. The perfect combination of feel and protection! I will never use anything else as long as this tab is in production!!!

            I really like this tab. I was a little skeptical at first due to the fact that it has no spacer; however, it doesn't need one. The nock releases cleanly and smoothly with excellent feel. I have multiple tabs, but this one is fast becoming my favorite.

                  Count me in as another convert from glove to tab. I am certain I get a better release with this tab than my previous gloves. Been using this tab for a month now, about 3000 arrows, and it still looks brand new. Tried with a x-country skiing glove now that the weather is getting cold and although it's a tight fit throught the tab hole, it still works well.

                      Great looking piece of gear that offers a smooth release. One drawback...just a little too thin for me. Didn't offer the comfort I was really hoping for. I have a less expensive finger tab that is a bit thicker and it feels great but is falling apart. This product would be perfect if were double the thickness.
