      I do not recommend sitting down and trying to digest every minute of this DVD. It is a great resource and I have learned to treat it much like a desk manual. Gives me something to look back on and check my progress. The information delivered is very clinical, for most presenters, and you have to really pay attention to get it all in. Still worth the money though!

        I'm just getting back into traditional archery. I have shot competitively with compounds for years and every once in awhile I would take One of my recurves to a 3- shoot just for laughs. I am shooting bare bow only now and I wanted to see the different ways of doing it. I always shot instinctive at least I thought it was. As it turns out I think I am more of a gap shooter. I didn't even know what that was until I saw this DVD. This is by far the best move I made since I put down my compounds. Every style of bare bow shooting is on this DVD with the best shooters in the world showing you the right way to do it. I pulled little bits for each shooter and used that info to tweak my own shooting style and I'm shooting consistent groups out to 25 yards. I'm not new to traditional bows but after watching this DVD I realized how little I really knew this was a big help.

        I'll be posting the same review I had for the first disc as disc 1 & 2 pretty much go together it seems. Disc 2 is essentially a continuation of disc 1 and set up the same way, just more interviews with different people. Totally worth watching.

        Putting this wealth of information and people together on a DVD for traditional shooters to enjoy was a good move! The only thing I didn't really like about it was that the information wasn't "organized" extremely well. The DVD is broken down into different interviews of traditional archery professionals. Each one talks about different, sometimes similiar sometimes not, aspects of traditional archery. I found these interviews, or episodes, to be packed with tons of information and tips. I just wish there was an index or description of each interview at the beginning in the menu so you could go right to the one you wanted to watch. There are sections that I'd like to watch multiple times or be able to show other people, without having to start at the beginning and fast forward though the whole thing to find that spot again. I suppose this is where having a great memory for faces and names would really pay off as you are able to pick individual interviews based on name from the menu, but not description or content of that interview. None the less, I've watched this DVD multiple times now, and I'm sure I'll end up watching it a few more times just to make sure I got all the info I wanted out of it.

          The information on gap at bow shooting could have been a little more informative. Still not alot on the instictive shooting. But again, instictive is pretty much do what feels right.

          Ty Pelfrey's segment on string walking was facinating. I'll have to look into that more in the future for sure. The form of shooting compatitions we was showing looks like alot of fun.

          The arrow tuning segment was informative as well.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
