      Bought my 10 yr old son a recurvebow for Christmas. I took a few shots with it and realized he would have no fun with it as purchased. I looked for an inexpensive sight that I could mount to the bow. It worked great and mounted easy.

        Comments about 4-Pin Eagle Eye Bow Sight:

        I chose this sight for a Samick Sage recurve takedown for a number of reasons including familiarity with the product from 30 years ago, its simplicity & ruggedness, and a previous comment stating it worked well with this particular bow. I have just a few comments about the latter. This sight does match the attachment points on my Sage but the inset curve of the metel occurs about 1/8 inch too soon which causes it to rub against the outside front edge of the riser. The vertical settings are also barely able to go low enough for ranges of 60 feet or greater, at least with my draw and stance. I knew beforehand from other comments this might be the case so was prepared to tinker with it as everyone must with their own equipment. Although I cannot set it any lower, inserting a 3/16 thick leather pad between the riser and the site did take care of the metal-on-wood rubbing and improved how well it locked down overall. On the range it worked as well as I remembered on a recurve where the point is to use the sight to judge distance and then rely on instinctive shooting to hit center mass. It is also so simple and rugged that I worry more about snapping a limb than I do messing up this sight in the field. I assume all the positive comments this item has explains why it was originally out of stock but 3Rivers got it to me as soon as they had it off the manufacturer's truck. Kudos to 3Rivers as always!

          Sometimes simple is best. Great for outdoor target/3D, beginner. Multiple range pins, no moving parts once pins are set.

          Only thing that would make it better is more vertical travel for the pins. My daughter has maxed hers out (pin at bottom of travel) at 25m.

          Best thing about this sight is that it is flat metal. I put this on right under my Tight Spot quiver and can't tell the difference. Design lacks modern features but its versatility is unbeatable.
