The heads fly good and I get very good penetration into the target. The factory grind is off so bad on some of the heads that 1 side is deeply ground and the other has no grind at all. I couldn't get them sharp, I bought all the sharping tools recommended and followed thier sharpening instructions. I can't comment on how they work on animals because I couldn't get them sharp enough to take hunting. I placed another order shortly after I received my heads and asked the fellow on the phone about the heads and he told me they had some grind issues at factory but they are taken care of now. He told me how to sharpen them which was the exact way I was already doing it.
I'm very disappointed with these heads and I will never buy them again.

        Comments about Woodsman Broadheads 150gr & 125gr Screw-In:

These broadheads do not perform as advertised. They come butter knife dull from the factory and do not sharpen well. They seem to go dull sitting in the quiver and achieving razor sharp qualities is almost impossible. The last two animals taken with these broadheads produced little or no blood trails (both well placed arrows) and did not provide pass throughs. I am shooting a 60lb longbow. The points bend easily, even when target shooting. These broadheads will work, but you can definately buy better

            Comments about Woodsman Broadheads 150gr & 125gr Screw-In:

I hunt goats, pigs, deer, bufillo with this broadhead and have never had drama. The solid construction means they can take punishment and being able to re-sharpen them is a big plus for me. After using woodsman now for some years I have not found a fault, infact I have introduced three of my hunting partners to them and they now use nothing else. I recomend them to any hunter for all game.

                Comments about Woodsman Broadheads 150gr & 125gr Screw-In:

I've always said that shot placement is critical, and I stand by that. I used this broadhead in the 2011 season and harvested my first whitetail buck. He wasn't huge, but when you use a stick and string everything's a trophy! (1962 Bear Polar 64"/45# - no technology - my Dad's old hunting bow). At 17 yards, the Woodsman broadhead entered just behind the shoulder and embedded itself deeply in the opposite shoulder. The blood trail was amazing and the buck only went 50 yards, stopped, then dropped. A quick touch-up with a sharpener (SUPER EASY - check the website for instructions on how it's done) and the broadhead was good-as-new. I suggest using some kind of scent-free wax to protect the metal finish to prevent rusting; otherwise, you gotta try these broadheads!

I have not shot anything yet with them but I have been practicing with them and they shoot great. I did shoot at a deer last year with one and I missed. I am new to the traditional archery.

                  Comments about Woodsman Broadheads 150gr & 125gr Screw-In:

A friend gave me these heads to try. I normally use 125gr. Heads but I figured what the [@]! So I put these on my CE heritage 250s and tried them on my 3D target-I am using a Toelke Lynx 55# @ 28". These things hit the same as my 125s! So off to the ranch for the real test! I put this head through a 125lb sow right where I was aiming! She actually jumped and then attempted to go back to eating corn when she realized something was wrong! There was a couple of drops of blood, but that head did put a hurt. I recovered her within 25 yds laying under some brush. My ONLY complaint is that the aluminum threading bent, so I'll need to replace that so the head will spin true. Other than that not bad! I'm gonna get the one piece though!

I have taken down three deer with the woodsman this year and all fell within 50 yrds. A not so great of a shot on a doe in the hind quarter and still nocked her down within 50 yrds. Easy to sharpen, tough and accurate as if they were laser guided. They are the deadliest broadhead I have ever shot. Get some and track less.
