    Comments about Magnus Vented 4-Blade 125 Grain Broadheads:

    This broadhead is the modern reincarnation of the old green Bear Razorheads. Yes, the bleeder blades interfere with your ferule, but either cut a slot into your wood shafting taper or cut a slot into your heavy steel adapters or use the short aluminium adapters(not my favorite). The bleeder blade is more stable than the bear bleeders and easy to sharpen seperate with a 15 degree angle on a GATCO system. The same is true for the main blade. Although it takes a while to get the right angle on the head initially (best to use a coarse diamond stone). After that treatment the resharpening is a breeze. That makes for some really sharp broadheads and awesome bloodtrails....

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Due to the blade insert there is not much surface to put in the ferrel. Also on my 11/32 shafts there was a loose fit to my tapper.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
