I've used Zwickey broadheads for years. Although I had trouble sharpening the smaller 125 grain four blade Zwickey heads, this Delta head was easy. I'm not sure why there are so many comments about this head being hard to sharpen.

I used the head last week on a wild boar in Texas and it zipped right through him at 15 yards with a 52 pound recurve. When I removed the front shoulder during the deboning, gutless method of field care, it looked like the boar had been shot with a high powered rifle. The damage from this head was amazing. No wonder the boar died within 7 seconds of being hit. Devastating.

For easier sharpening I use a Lansky Diamond sharpener. It takes a little while to get the edge, but once you have it they are very sharp!!

Awesome Broadheads.

Shot this into a 292lb black bear. hit bear in Liver and bear went 60 yards. 4inch exit hole.

First off, I'm relatively new to recurve hunting but I was not impressed with the durability of this broad head at all. In about 10 minutes two of the heads broke. Partly my fault as I hit one into a tree, but I thought it was odd that the screw insert ripped off the broad head completely and remained on my arrow. The next one, again my fault, I hit low into a clump of dirt and the entire thing bent in half. Wish I would have taken a picture before I threw it away. I've never had this happen with any of the Muzzy, Montec, or even the Meat Seeker mechanicals that I've shot through my compound. We all make bad shots from time to time, but I believe an all steel 170 grn broadhead made in the USA should be much tougher than this!

ok I'm new to traditional, but not to archery been shooting for over 25 years. I'm now comfortable enough to go hunting with my new recurve. I decided on the zwickeys for the price and what everyone said about them flying like field tips. So I said may as well try them. They fly perfect I am shooting 175 grain on my field tips so I ordered the 170 grain broadhead, they hit just a hair lower but they are straight. The penetration was good, it seems to tune well with my the rest of my stuff. I cant wait to go hunting. I'll have to practice my sharpening skills. Thanks for the quick shipping [...].....great service keep it up!

Like someone else mentioned, they fly like fieldpoints, but are tough to sharpen. There is no question about durability, for half the price of most broadheads, these will last much longer. There is not much selection for 170grain broadheads, but as far as Im concerned there doesnt need to be.

These broadheads heads fly just like field points.
Only draw back is They are VERY HARD TO GET SHARP.
That is the only flaw I can find with these broadheads.

Carnt purchase these in Australia.Had a hell of a time to sharpen as they ars so hard.
Shoot straight and shoot the same as field points up to 30 yds.
