        A number of years ago, I began using 3 Rivers brass weight 5gr. washers. I'm a shooter who splits hunting and target time between both longbow and compound. Like other archers, when young and invincible ( like duh!!), I pounded my shoulder (bow arm) with far too much draw weight. Result: a torn left shoulder labrum. I can still muster a 43# longbow but arrow weight is critical because I shoot 560 gr. to maximize inertia downstream with 3:1 two blade forged broadhead.

        My set-up is very trajectory-sensitive, even between 12 and 17 yards. I need absolute arrow weight equality.

        The brass rings are invaluable to me not to mention that they're superb in adding FOC to carbon arrows. I'm to the point now where I use the same arrow in compound and longbow shooting cause with today's compounds and a heavy arrow (I use the same broadheads mounted on 3 River's steel adapters), razor sharp edge you can pass-through back-to-back whitetails at 40#. I have, anyway, in a perfect situation.

        Brilliant utility with these itty-bitty rings. I would not hunt (ethics) without them.

                        These weight washers allow you to fine tune your point weight while bareshaft or paper tuning your arrows. In my case i had a 125 point that was giving me a right tear. I couldnt find any 140 heads, so i bought a few packages of these and added them to the end of my arrow to fix the problem.
