        Easy to use, just heat/melt and apply to the shaft. Also 3 Rivers has a how to video, all about how to use and get the best results. Also very good price for a large 10" stick, should go a long way!

            I use this glue for much more than sticking my broadheads to arrows. Its a great all purpose hot melt. For example right now its holding my old pair of boots together. Plus I like that its designed for colder climates being that I do hunt in Canada in November, so being cold resistant is an asset.

                    THIS IS EXCELLENT GENERAL PURPOSE ARROW GLUE.I USE IT FOR POINTS,INSERTS,AND NOCKS ON WOOD,ALUMINUM,AND CARBON ARROWS.I JUST HEAT IT WITH MY LIGHTER A FEW SWIPES AND SMEAR IT ON.SOMETIMES I MAY USE A HAIR DRYER TO WARM IT TO ADJUST A NOCK.IT COOLS AND HOLDS VERY QUICKLY AND CAN BE REWARMED IN A SECOND OR TWO JUST BY PASSING THE LIGHTER ALONG THE SHAFT OR POINT.
                    I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY ARROW DYNAMIC ARROWS LOSING AND BREAKING NOCKS.THE STRING WAS PROBABLY PULLING THE NOCKS OUT ON RELEASE.SO I PUT A DAB ON THE NOCKS NOW AND PUSH THEM IN.NO NOCKS BREAK OR ARE LOST NOW.IT HOLDS THEM AND IS RUBBERY ENOUGH TO ACT LIKE A SHOCK ABSORBER.
                    ALSO I WEIGH MY ARROWS TO 360 GRAINS.IF I MAKE ONE THAT WEIGHS 350 GRAINS I CUT A BIT OFF AND WEIGH OUT 5 GRAINS THEN TAKE OUT THE INSERT AND MELT THE 5 GRAINS OF GLUE INTO THE SHAFT SO I CAN ADJUST THE EXACT WEIGHT OF MY ARROWS EASILY.

                        I used this 3Rivers hot melt to install the inserts in my CX Heritage carbon shafts and I'm absolutely pleased with the results.

                        I screwed the points into the inserts and held the point in my fingers while I applied heat to the insert. I get them just hot enough to melt the 3Rivers glue and then twist the shaft over the insert and immediately dunk the point end of the shaft in a tall glass of water to cool. I leave it in the water until the next one goes in for cooling.

                        The excess glue will form a ring around the end of the shaft. After it cools you can take your fingers and roll it off. The excess glue looks and feels like a rubber o-ring when you get it off the shaft.

                        I used this glue while tuning and had to remove my points to cut the shafts. I held the point to the very low flame of my propane torch and held the shaft right over the insert. As soon as I felt the shaft start to get warm I could then pull the insert.

                        I have shot broadheads into my 3-D targets and haven't lost an insert yet from this glue!
