            So far, I havent had any problems with this glue. Its been durable and the field points havent moved even after blowing through my target and burying in wood. The glue, most importantly sets up fast and is easy to work with. Its more expensive than other insert set glues but worth it.

              Worked like a charm for inserts in a new set of carbon arrows. Whatever glue you use, make sure to clean the first inch or so of the interior of the shafts before gluing the inserts in. There's usually lots of carbon dust left from the cut to length process.

                    I used this to bond threaded inserts into graphite (Traditional Only) arrows. The best thing I can say about Insert Iron is that the stuff makes for a durable bond. I shoot between 100-150 shots per day using the same dozen arrows which I glued up over a month ago and not one insert has come loose. I'm using a straw backstop, but have frequent pass-throughs, so these arrows hit the dirt regularly with no apparent ill effects. It does take a solid two days or so to fully set up...yes, I fiddled with one arrow after 24 hours and could still move the insert, so I ignored them for another full day and began shooting them the third day after glue-up. As long as the Insert Iron doesn't set up in the bottle, there is plenty left for several dozen more arrows even though I applied it generously.

                    I'm completely new to assembling my own arrows, but I did it and used Insert Iron for my point inserts. I chose this product from advice from one of the staff at 3Rivers - thanks!
                    I just tried my newly put-together arrows and hate to admit that one of them missed the target completely (won't happen again, promise ;-) ) and imbedded itself in the OSB behind the target - OUCH!! I was amazed to find that after digging the point out of the OSB, there was no damage to the insert at all!
                    My only complaints are that it requires, as stated on the instructions, a good deal of ventilation or a mask when using it. I just moved my assembly operations to the outdoor garage. The other issue was that although I expected to remove a seal beneath the cap, I was surprised that there was none - nearly spilled a good amount all over the place.

                    Otherwise great product 3Rivers!
