    Doing all I can to keep tips on wood arrows. Thought I would try one more task. I use denatured alcohol to clean the inside of the target point , and now I use this little steel brush to further clean and roughen the surface. I don't use a drill motor because all mine are for the new hex head bits , but it seems to work well enough with a small vise grip and hand rotation. I don't know if the tips stay on better , haven't had enough field experience to know. But this does what I hoped it would do , clean the inside of the tip.

    I do not have a drill and I am not going out to buy one just to use with this brush. I guess I expected it to be like a brush one uses to clean a firearm that is a brush that can be manually operated.
    the picture that accompained the advertisment certianly gave me that impression.

            The glue on points always bring some dirty and if you dont clean it, it´s easy to lose them in 3d, also recomend using alcohol

              What a great Idea!!! Very helpful I have not lost a point yet. I just chuck in a cord-less drill dip the brush in solvent or thinner and drill into the point just a few seconds. It cleans out oil, rust, and old glue. Just be careful and don't push too hard and wear it out quickly.

              This point brush does what the manufaturer claims. But it isn't worth the price charged as it clogs up with metal dust and is impossible (as far as I can determine) to clean. After a very short while it becomes useless and needs replacement @ $[$]and change plus shipping I find it to be overly priced.

                      I works as advertised and helps make your points\broadheads stay on your shaft better. It is better if you make a small handle to place over the metal shaft of the brush so you can control the brush and get a better grip for scoring the inside of the tapered of the point or broadhead.
