      This device works! There are other clamping devices that provide a constant angle for sharpening. What sets this one apart is the roller and the swiveling head. The roller helps prevent wear on the device as it is moved over the stone. The swiveling head helps ensure that the broadhead (or whatever is being sharpened) is kept at a constant angle along its length. No matter how skilled one gets at sharpening freehand, keeping a truly constant angle is best done with a mechanical device. It is the constant angle that allows one to attain absolute razor-like sharpness. Also, this device is simple, well-made, and not gimmicky. I have been using this to sharpen single bevel broadheads. I use a 10" very coarse diamond bench stone to reset the bevel and shape the edge. I then use progressively finer stones to hone the blade, finishing with a steel and leather strop, to razor sharpness. This device is the easiest and best I have used to maintain a constant angle for superior sharpness.

          This is a great sharpening tool. I have been sharpening cutting edges for 45 years and this is the best single tool to come on the market since diamond hones. It keeps the proper cutting angle very precisely and ensures you get the best edge possible. I have used this to sharpen Grizzly broadheads which are extrememly hard and tough to sharpen. with this tool it is easy to put an edge on these that is incredible. It still takes a long time to sharpen grizzlys, but it is better than trying to maintain the angle without one. I am very happy with my purchase and wish I had gotten something like this a long time ago.

                I received my replacement jig and the difference is night and day. It does everything it said it would. I would recommend that you use coarse, medium and fine stones as it cuts your sharpening time considerably.

                Service and delivery comments:

                The return took a little longer than I would have liked but it took awhile for it to get to 3rivers.
                The box it came back in was pretty tweeked but the jig survived intact.
                The guy (sorry I can't remember his name)who called about the return was great we covered all the problems with the first jig and he called again to confirm my info. Just like the jig, my experience with customer service was night and day.

                    This product has possibilities. However, the one I received was like a shopping cart that has been used and abused, and as you push it it hops and skips. The roller was smashed out of shape and looked like it had vise grips used on it, so wouldn't roll smoothly.
                    It's a sad thing when quality control,or lack of, lets something like this slip past.

                    Customer service was rather unhelpful.

                      For years I considered anything with an "edge" a disposable item. The concept of sharpening anything had eluded me for so long that I had convinced myself there were no other options than to purchase my annual filet knife and broadhead replacement blades.I’ve tried a few different “systems” looking for the “scary sharp” end result and have been met with less than the desired results. Then I found the KME sharpener. I had my first COC broadhead so sharp hair leaped off the blade within minutes on my very first try with this product. Since then I’ve sharpened broadheads to the point where I could take a little skin with the hair and not feel it happening. That IMHO is scary sharp.

                      This has to be the best broadhead sharpener on the market today. Ron designed a new, useful and uncomplicated sharpener that gets the job done. It’s that simple!!! Another very positive aspect of the KME Broadhead Sharpener is it requires only a minimal number of elements and a minimal number of easy steps to ready the sharpener for use and it get my broadheads scary sharp, I mean RAZOR SHARP!!!!! You'll be turned into a believer when you use one, believe me. Thank you KME, thank you....
