    Bought this file for three blade broadheads. Worked great. No doubt it would be great to start an edge on two bladers too. I went with the 8in file for easier use. Sure takes off the rough edge to start out fresh for a razor edge. I went with a Stubby Jewelstik Diamond Hone Sharpener and a leather strop to finish up an razor sharp edge. Just as God intended. Genesis 27:3

    This was the first file I have used. I found it to be effective even for a novice. The blade sharpened well and took a nice hone when run over a diamond stone.

        Worked great on making a level cutting plane on my broadheads. Then I polished up on a fine diamond stone, then hone on some leather to get a clean shaving edge.

                The file teeth cut very easily allowing you to vary the amount of metal removed by changing the pressure used on the broadhead. No doubt the finest, most uniform file I've ever used. If you get the large size, you can handle two adjacent edges of any three blade head by simply placing the head on the file and drawing down the length of the file. This means the entire cutting length of the cutting edges are in contact with the file for the whole stroke virtually eliminating any front to back or side to side rocking motion that can occur when using a smaller file and drawing across the broadhead edges.

                        I bought the 12" version the same time I bought some Woodsman broadheads. I wanted a file big enough so I could lay the heads flat for sharpening. Even though I couldn't get the heads sharp (factory grind issues) the file worked excellent. I'd buy this this file again.
