Great for adding on behind a field point or blunt , I shoot 300 plus gr. points and no one makes a stump shooting point that heavy that I've found so grinding off a field point to a blunt and putting one of these behind it is awesome!!

Used it for stump shooting couldn't keep it tight. Broke the tip of left the threads in shaft on the third shot.

Although they are somewhat pricey they are also more flexible in their use than a judo point. I stumpshot all season with one of these and one judo. The tip of the judo eventually bent and deformed. The same thing eventually happened to the field point I placed in front of the grasshopper. In fact, the field point snapped off inside the shaft. Of course, I could change the field point and continue to shoot with the grasshopper...the judo became useless once the tip bent because the arrow flight went south.

If it weren't for the ridiculous price, these would get a mediocre rating. These used to be the cheap alternative to judo heads. You could buy half a dozen for a few bucks.

I am amazed that these sell for more than Judo points! Not just more, but over a dollar more per tip! And to boot, they are not as durable as Judos. The spring/prongs are noticeably thinner, and I've had many break off completely.

Get the judos instead.

This produt does not keep the arrow from penetrating into the dirt and grass very well. There was very little difference in the amount my arrows went into grass and dirt while stump shooting. I shot arrows with and without the Grasshoppers installed and noticed little difference as stated previously.
