Inadequate Killing Power

These blunts are fantastic for stump shooting: they have saved me dozens of broken arrows. However, this morning in my deer stand I took a shot at a squirrel with a 50 lb longbow and hit him squarely in the chest without killing him. The squirrel was clearly injured, but was able to hobble away to a hole in the tree for safety, and then a half hour later appeared to have made a full recovery. I'm switching to something made of harder rubber or metal.

Very fun to shoot. Just make sure you get the right size, or they will be difficult to install. If you shoot carbon or aluminum, do not put on a shaft that does not have an insert. The carbon or aluminum will cut through. Otherwise they are solid.

      Ordered the red ones (5/16) and been using them on Heritage 75 (9/32) and even there it's a tight fit. My main use for them is to upkeep muscular form when weather is bad outside. Hooked up a line in my garage, hung a heavy tarp and now shooting at it at close range (about 10 feet away) with a Bunny Buster attached to a normal arrow without practice point. Been using the same buster for about a month and over 2000 shots. The tarp is still in good shape, and so is the Bunny Buster. Great stuff.

          Smack goes the Bunny Buster as it impacted a pine "clone!"These are my go to small game head!They fit very, very, very, tight to my shafts an advantage in my book.I have read some reveiws where people say they shot though the blunt but I have not had this problem though it might be because I shoot a Thirty pound bow or the way I fit it to the shaft which is to slip it over a point taper.I have used these point when stump shooting and have not had any trouble with them. I have the 11/32 version which is black and they work fine with my 5/16 ThreeRiversArchey Flu Flus.The "3RA" stamp is still intact after many shots. For those who love small game hunting or stump shooting you might want to consider these little jems!

            This is good and durable point for stump/target shooting. Whether you're shooting pine trees or beer cans off the back of your 3D target, these will do just fine. As far as bunnies go, I really wasn't too impressed with it's performance in that area. I would prefer a flat steel head point for rabbits,squirrels and other small game. That's what I use to hunt small game with and I get quick kills with it. If you want to ever take these off of a carbon arrow you had better put some lubricant on before you put it on your arrow. If not, it's kind of a pain to get them off. But all in all this is a good product for target shooting and I would buy more.
