      Good reel for those who don't want to spend lots of money. Fits great on my Bear Montana Longbow. The only down side is that it takes time to get the line back on the reel, but for the price its worth it.

          awesome little unit. i used to just coil the line on the bow of my boat but got into some tangles. i put some cloth for padding between the reel and my bow
          works great with the little stinger arrow

                Just started bowfishing with an old bear recurve. The reel does what it needs to which is just hold the line. It was pretty scratched up when i got it but that doesn't affect performance. My big complaint is that the line retainer clip frays the line and the 2nd carp that i shot (probably 10 lb) broke the nylon line and took off with the arrow.

                  This is a easy to use tape on reel. Its simple and works good with slender long bows or re-curves that you do not want to drill any holes for mounting.
                  The tape on brackets are made of soft enough metal to bend to the shape of the bow.
                  I glued some leather straps on the metal brackets that touch the bow to keep from scratching. works great.
                  I have shot several 8 - 10 pound carp and have not had any issues with this real.
