        I bought the traditional mount adapter becuase I wanted to attache an AMS retriever reel to an old Ben Pearson bow without drilling holes. This Item works great. It holds tight to the riser and does not move when a load is applied to the reel. It does not marr the finish on the bow. I took it bow fishing a few days ago and shot many arrows that hung up in some underwater brush and got one carp. The adapter mount stayed put in the exact spot I placed it in.
