Fletched onto 31.5" GT Trads shooting out of a 45# Bear KTD. Split fingers of a rest (I also use Blazers...) Shoots straight and smooth. Slightly higher than vanes. I use the Jo-jan x6 RW Helical fletch jig and they all go on easy.

          The "Truth-to-the-Matter is, Whenever I build Custom Arrows, I concentrate on the artistic forms of the cresting as the final stages prior to Fletching the shaft. It doe's not matter what the size of the TrueFlight feather is...everyone I've used is exactly as stated in the length. I have only used 3" 4" 5" 5 1/2" & when I Crest my shafts, I always crest with lacquer paint where the fletching is being applied, thus it is extremely important to me that the length be as accurate as possible on the feather due to the fact that the size I am using is applied directly over the crest base coat. If the feather is 1/4" to short or long, it turns out as a sloppy wasted worthless arrow...& I don't build junk.
          The TrueFlight feather is more expensive than all other brands, but you get what you pay for in this world. Bottom Line, if you want to use junk, then don't buy TrueFlight. If you care enough about your equipment, order these by the case.

                I just don't think enough can be said about true flight feathers. A few years back, I tried some other brands that were a bit cheaper. Well, you really do get what you pay for. True flight offers a superior, uniform grind on ALL their feathers. Never found another brand that could say the same. Their thinner quills are more adhesion forgiving when it comes to things like skinny carbons or hard helical, they come in the widest array of colors, and their barred feathers are the best looking in the business. Second to none. I've learned my lesson the hard way. From now on, i'm shelling out the extra dollar or two and fletching all my feathers with trueflights.
