    Homemade soap has people envisioning Granny Clampett around the Ce Ment pond making soap and stirring it with a paddle that dissolves in the strong lye. Jethro took the paint right off washing the truck. Real soap is made using lye as part of the process but there is NO lye in the finnished soap. Real soap has glycerin and this keeps your skin moist and also there is no need for hair cream rinse. Glycerin is the big money part of the soap an all the big mfgs strip it out of the soap where is has been used for munitions to cometics since 1900. What they do is add very cheap detergent to the product to boost ability of the product to stip oils and dirt off the skin. Then they come back and sell you cream rinse so your hair is not dry as hay stack. This soap has light aromatic oils for scent. Not for hunting where no scent is wanted. Each bar lasts with once a day use about 3 weeks The price of this is competitive and a good deal when added to an archery supply order. If you live in the north your skin will notice the difference in the cold dry months. This is not some beauty bar it is good stuff.

        I bought this on a whim while ordering string materials, and I am very glad I did. I have had very sensitive skin since serving overseas, and normal soaps from the grocery store dry me out and leave a film, increasing the irritation I deal with. The camp soap smells great, and works great. I feel cleaner than I ever did using it vice the big brand soaps, and it leaves no traces it was ever there. I love it. I promptly ordered several more bars, as well as some for family. The biggest downside is the bar lasts about 3/4 as long as brand name soaps, so order more than one. It may seem a little pricey just for a bar of soap, but if you have any problems with big name soaps, I recommend trying this one.

            I use this product every day. It gets down to the nitty and removes the gritty. Doesn't dry me out and my wife even likes the way it smells! Keeps the man-stink off me when I'm bowhunting in the fall and on the fenceline in the spring. Great stuff!

            This soap is excellent for scrubbing with as it has bits in it to remove dead skin. The nice scent while showering completely disappeared after the shower which is what I wanted. I was hunting not dating.
