    I really wanted this to work. But for the price, might as well invest in a toothing blade and make a toothing plane. It's not possible to even the bamboo backing with this tool like with a real toothing plane. Might as well stick with a bandsaw blade as quality is about even with it.

    Comments about Toothing Scraper Bow Making Tool:

    Blade has a convex cutting edge rather than a
    straight edge, which will produce grooves of unequal depth. The teeth are wide and separated
    by narrow grooves with deeply radiused bottoms.
    Neither the teeth nor the grooves are of uniform
    width. No two pieces of material produced with this tool will have their grooved sides match
    or fit together. Take a look at a toothing plane
    blade and no further explanation is needed.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
