Bought these skins to back my very first bow. I was a bit disappointed in the color variation between the two skins, which I why I gave it 4 stars.

But otherwise, the length of the skins was perfect and they glued on perfectly (Titebond 3). I was surprised at how easy it was to skin the back of the bow...even for a newbie like me. Many tutorials say to wrap the bow and skins with an ace bandage during glue up...I just glued them and pressed the excess glue/air out with my fingers. Then I trimmed the excess with a file after 24 hours. Worked Great and looks great. Now finishing with Tru-Oil.

I couldn't find skins for sale online and was worried about buying these. Turned out to be a great product at a pretty good price.

I was cautious about applying snake skins to
the limbs of a high dollar bow, but it was easier
than I expected. Just follow on line instructions.

The snakeskin was an experiment that was extremely successful. I backed a horse bow with it to ground hunt in dead brush and grass. The website directions were perfect. I got hasty and applied the skin when it was still mildly damp and it shrunk a bit creating wrinkles. Wait until it is completely dry and follow 3 rivers directions. I found the skin to be a bit pricey. I live in Hawaii and could not shop around. Had I lived on the mainland, I would find a more reasonable price. The skinning job was not perfect. Had I backed a longer style bow, one of the two skins would not had been adequate because of holes in the product. This was not an issue with the smaller horse bow. If you want a high quality and unique look, back the bow with rattlesnake skin.
