    I traded for a custom takedown recurve and the limbtips were shaped in a way that made my standard recurve stringer unuseable on this bow. I ordered this stringer, after watching the video, and the pocket is adjustable enough to work well. And, even though I scratched my head when I saw the arrowhead pad - it works as advertised. The crazy part? I placed my order on a Thursday after 10 am, the stringer arrived in the mail on Saturday - approximately 48 hours after the order was placed.

    This stringer slipped off of the end of my long bow twice while trying to string my bow. It does work fine on my sons recurve bow, he really likes it. I made my own bow stringer from the information that was in the "Bow Accessories" book that I just purchased from 3Rivers. Would recommend this stringer to only people that use a recurve bow.

        I have collected a few long bows and recurves and this gem works on very one of them. I friend of mine recently purchased a different brand for his bows and upon recieving it he was pretty dissappointed that is wasn't of the same quality as this one. Highly recommended.

                    This stringer feels very sturdy, has lots of length to it and very easy to use. Only thing that isn't so great is that the rubber piece does not want to slide when you have it under pressure but if you get it in the right spot you don't need it to slide down the limb.

                            This product is exactly what it describes itself as. It is a good means of stringing both long bows and recurve bows. It does not however work quite as well as the two pocket stringer I bought this to replace. The small rubber piece on the nonpocket end slips a little and unless you have it in the exact right spot it bends the bow in an odd way. Overall pretty happy and would buy another if need be.

                              Very sturdily constructed bow stringer. The cordage appears to be 550 cord as used by the U.S. Military. Strength should not be an issue. It would also be quite easy to replace should the need arise. The Leather appears to be very fine quality and the finish is superb. The hard rubber arrow head end looks to be bombproof and it just plain looks cool.
