This tip protector keeps me from worry when I rest the foot of the bow on the ground. I use them on my Tomahawk and usually cut some off the end so they cover up to the string. Plenty of coverage for protection and still easy to remove if necessary. I put one on without trimming and it was difficult to install and remove. Don't be afraid to do some trimming based on the bow you use it on. Great product.

I like the color choice. I went with green. It seems to be of very durable material. I just bought my first recurve and don't have anything to hold the bow when I go down range, so the bow leans against the house on the concrete. This tip protector is perfect for protecting the tip from the concrete. It is, however, extremely difficult to get this thing on the bow. I ended up putting baby powder in it and that helped tremendously to get the thing all the way on without any "tag" end (unfilled tip).

          Over the years shooting the longbow I have tried many different tip protectors. They range from leather to plastic. I even tried making some from baby bottle nipples. None of them are as easy to use and as durable as these heavy rubber tip protectors. The leather tip protectors do well keeping the tip from being scratched but will maintain moisture and the plastic ones eventually wear out exposing the tips. These tip protectors are perfect for the narrow tips of the longbow. It's easy to trim so you don't have to remove your string to put it in place. Whether you're hunting, stumping, at the range or 3D course these tip protectors will serve you well.

                This is a very simple piece of rubber which can keep away head aches related with your bow tip being scrathed or even broken depending on situations. İt is protective without doubt and looks durable. The only negative side with this protector is the difficulty to place it.

                I had bought one of these for my longbow. It was semi-difficult to install. It took some force to get it on all the way and didn't slide on very easy. On the other hand, being as difficult to get on as it was, I never had to worry about it coming loose or coming off. When I finally did need to remove it to change the string on the bottom string loop the rubber tip protector didn't want to come off very well. I was able to roll it down onto itself half way then wiggle it off. My longbow had a pretty slender tip on it. I couldn't imagine trying to get this on something with some thickness to it, or a recurve for that matter.
                That being said though, it worked great and I didn't have any noticeable issue with it messing with the string or with my draw or anything. It is kind of a soft rubber and I wouldn't imagine that it would last a super long time if you were using your bow as a walking stick or really giving it a lot of contact on a regular basis. But it's inexpensive enough that you could replace it ever now and again.

                  These are great. Pick a color that looks good on your bow and squeeze this on.

                  It is great that it protects the bottom tip of my longbow but it is even better that it holds my string in place when my bow is unstrung.
