    I feel that this is the best all around arrow rest available for both youth, beginning and advanced archers. My very first bow was a Bear Grizzly which I still have and is almost 50 yrs old. This had the same bear arrow rest on it when I bought it, although it has become brittle and broken off. At this time, I am refurbishing two old bows and setting up 2 new youth bows for my grandchildren. They will all have the Bear arrowrest on them when I get done. I have tried the Hoyt arrow rest, the whiskers style may be all right for hunting, (I wouldn't use one) but I still want the Bear arrow rest. Years ago when I shot indoor archery, the Bear arrowrest is what we used and I shot consistent scores in the 275-285 ranges with it. Please don't drop it or let them quit making them.     Some of our cheap fiberglass bows at our Boy Scout / Cub Scout Camp have poor rests. Not wanting to discard the otherwise usable bows, I trimmed the Bear Weatherests to fit. Nothing last forever, but these rests will hopefully allow us to get another year or two out of our bows in a cost effective manner; while providing a decent experience for our kids.

              It's hard to find inexpensive feathered youth arrows for use in old trad bows. This is the best (meaning cheapest and easiest) way to make a collection of old stick bows usable with plastic vane arrows without harm to the vintage bows. Helps sort out the 'shooters' from the wall hangers. Bullet proof design.

                This is the rest that is the simplest, most effective quick rest that I've ever used. It was a "flip" rest before flip rests were common. It's easy to install and improves arrow flight by keeping the arrow off the shelf. They last forever, and are inexpensive to replace if you happen to wear one out, although I don't see how you'd do that. A bargain.

                  Bought this rest to replace the white hoyt rest. the hoyt was getting flimsy and the arrows no longer left the bow cleanly. This rest provides quiet draws and releases. I'm using this rest on a bear kodiak magnum. couldnt be happier so far.

                  The same classic rest I had when I was a kid. A great,durable rest for all ages and skill levels. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the lack of a plunger hole,but if it bothers you you can punch one out with a leather punch. Having said that,these things are as comfortable as a pair of worn blue jeans.

                    I have multiple bows with this rest. It actually was better as it wore down. I use them to the point where my arrow is almost to the wall. I have great accuracy with these but would not recommend for target shooting in a competitive setting
