    This longbow turned out great. Tillered to 50 lbs at 26.5, lots of power. I put on the phenolic ends and made a flemish string from fast flight. Very happy with the way the bow turned out.

      Comments about Bamboo Backed Hickory Bow Kit:

      Very good wood quality, no warping, the bamboo was properly dried and planed, so no convex shape, all laminates fit together nicely.

      Yet, one small problem, the hickory was a little wavy where it was tapered. But an easy fix with a joiner or hand planer. This kit looks very nice with the Bubinga wood riser, and tip overlays.
