This blank made a good 36 # target bow, about 6 feet long, with two inches of string follow. Front profile is like a longbow, but side profile is definately an American Flatbow. Could not make it work any other way. Thickened bamboo nodes were a bit hard to handle during tillering. Shoots well.

I have been shooting bows for 30 years and find this bow one of the best I've ever shot. It is very smooth to draw and shoot and gives you a sense of pride knowing you built it yourself.
