I think this is a great beginners DVD. Nothing complicated in his technique and keeps it simple. I liked his style. The only thing I found lacking was problem solving. Of course, the DVD would have been hours longer with that thrown in. :)

Comments about Making a Wood Bow DVD:

This is a laid-back presentation of building a self-bow. The instruction is good and thorough. No power tools involved but lots of elbow grease. No plans and few dimensions are involved, just a whittle-until-it's-right attitude and guidance on how to make it right. I'm as likely to watch this for the good company as for the instruction. Multiple viewings will be required to absorb it all, but I look forward to it each time.
