          Best contact adhesive Ive ever used. Have used it for shelf rests and other applications. Holds super secure, apply to both faces, wait 8 minutes and make sure its where you want it

                I first used Barge to help hold my leather to my bow grip, never had a problem with it staying stuck. Ive even got caught in the rain one afternoon and the handle of my bow was soaked, Barge held tight. I recently tried it as a fletching glue, and so far have not had any feathers peel up or fall off. My only advice would be to say not to squeeze to hard that stuff comes out fast.

                  I am in to pre 1800 reenactments .I use Barg cement for all my leather prodgects . It holds the leather together before stitching . I have made two shooting pouches,possible bags ,knife sheath, arrow quiver,clothing items and much much more. Also great for gluing backing on my bows and repairing arrow fleching. I have used Barg for repairing items around the house to . Don't leave home without it.

                      The old formula BARGE was a 5 star quality product that worked. Reviews before 11/2010 show this and I used it faithfully. Now they have reformulated BARGE and it just does not work, it is like Elmers Glue and I am trying to locate all the old formula product I can to stock up as it was the absolute best you can get. Unfortunately the new BARGE is just another glue. Don't waste your money.

                      While Barge Cement doesn't explicitly say it's meant for archery on the bottle, I'll go ahead and assure that it is because it works great on just about every archery material; be it rubber fletching, metal inserts, or leather arrow rests (what I bought it for), this glue does it all, just read the label for yourself. The only drawbacks I can see are the annoying little strands the glue can create from its cap and opening, so if your doing this with your bare fingers, it can get a little messy. A couple things to know are that this glue dries fairly quick and so it is best to do a little planning and preparation ahead of time before you go smearing it all over the place. I recommend using a wooden tongue depressor or something of the like to spread it or you'll have a very sticky situation on your hands, literally.

                        All around excellent glue. I've used this glue for leather to leather/hide. You can also use it to glue leather to wood. It also works well on artificial sinew. Excellent waterproof capacity. It does take 24 hours to completely dry.
