    This is a great product, not very hard to apply to bow. It add alittle more strenght to the hickory self bows I build. Looks great. I use tite bond 3 to apply, just cover back of bow with the tite bond and lay the backing over the glue. start in the center of the bow once you have got the backing applied and smooth out toward the limb tips. Let ti dry for about 24hr and then trim off the excess backing from the sides. Then seal the backing with a good urithain, I like the spray on kind. Apply and give it about an hr to dry and repeat. Do this at least 3 or 4 times. It will really bing out the look of the snake skin and protect it from the weather. Try it you will love this product.

    The copperhead snakeskin backing is easy to use - apply a thin to medium layer of Tite Bond III to the bow then starting at the center smooth the cloth over the limbs working both sides from the center. Apply another complete coat of TBIII over the skin, smooth it out and let it settle. Trim the ends to fit beforehand and trim the sides with a sharp knife before it is completely dry (8 - 10 hours)The colors jump out and are very realistic after a coat of poly.The cons - at 1 1/2 inch wide it doesn't cover the width of the limb at the widest.Also at $$ it is about twice what I think is reasonable. All in all I would use it again if I catch it on sale.

          I tried the copperhead cloth skin and found that it was a very dull color, not lifelike at all and it was easy to apply but hard to trim cleanly and it soaked up finish like crazy. Nothing at all like the real thing or even the vinyl stuff.

              I bought these not knowing what they were. After I received them, I see that they are just thin, snake print material. I threw mine away. A total waste of money. 3 Rivers is a very good company and I have bought many dollars worth of merchandise from them over the years but save your money on these things.

                      I really like these skins .Easy to apply and finish and although costly for a little bit of cloth,it's still about half the price of true skins.Overall,they look very realistic on my bow

                            I ordered two snake skin backings. After some difficulty with the first, I tacked the second cloth onto a board and sprayed it with some varnish. This gave it some body and made it a lot easier to handle. So far everybody thinks the backings are real until I tell them. I will do this again when I finish the next bow.

                                This is a great product! I spread a layer of titebond on my osage bow that im building and layed the snakeskin on top and i ran a piece of wood over it making sure the glue soaked through evenly. I checked it the next day and it looked great.
