      These are the most effective silencer I have tried but they do affect arrow velocity up to 5 fps. more than Cat Whiskers. They also collect water and burrs. There's no free lunch but they definitely quiet the bow string.

          I' m using it since several years on my old PSE Carroll Intruder compound bow , it's cut a string noise better of all other on the markett but when you shoot/hunt on a rainy day , be sure to take a little shower...:)

          If you want to set it on a traditional bow , set it near the linb tips because it can eat 5-6pds of a bow !:)

          These really cut string noise, but as said before, they are burr magnets.
          After a day of hunting in my woods, I have to brush them! (Although, my woods have so much burrs, and I have shoulder-leingth hair, that I end up looking like satchquach when I hunt!)

            You caint beat Yarn puffers .they take vibration out of a bow string better than any other acessory you can tie,stick,wrap ,tape or glue to abow string.
