      I'VE SHOT ABOUT TEN THOUSAND SHOTS NOW WITH SLIMJAX.I CAN HONESTLY SAY IT'S BEEN A GOOD EXPERIENCE.
      I HAVE NOT REALLY NOTICED NOISE REDUCTION,THOUGH THE BOW ISN'T LOUDER EITHER.
      SLIMJAX ARE LIGHT AND DO NOT AFFECT THE WEIGHT OF THE BOW FOR HOLDING ON.
      SOMETHING I NOTICE WHICH IS UNIQUE TO SLIMJAX IS WHEN I SHOOT MY BOW AND I LET DOWN I CAN FEEL A HUM A KIND OF FINE VIBRATION IN MY FINGER FOR ABOUT THREE SECONDS.NONE OF MY BOWS WITHOUT SLIMJAX DOES THIS.I'VE COME TO REALIZE WHAT CAUSES THIS.
      WHEN THE LIMB SLAMS FORWARD THE SLIMJAX ABSORB THE VIBRATION---THAT IS THEY ABSORB THE ENERGY
      AND YOUR HAND DOES NOT.THEN AFTER THE SHOT THE
      SLIMJAX SLOWLY RELEASE THE ENERGY BACK INTO THE BOW IN THE FORM OF THIS LOW VIBRATION.SO ESSENTIALLY THEY SPREAD THE RELEASE OF ENERGY OVER A LONGER PERIOD AND THIS SAVES YOUR HAND
      AND TEETH.
      SLIMJAX ARE VERY EASY TO APPLY.JUST PEEL OFF THE
      NON STICK PAPER AND PRESS THE SLIMJAX IN PLACE AND IT'S THERE.I'VE USED MINE IN SNOW RAIN SLEET FREEZING COLD AND BOILING HEAT AND HUMIDITY.THEY WORK UNDER ALL CONDITIONS AND ARE STILL IN PLACE.

      I GUESS IT COULD BE SAID SLIMJAX ARE A MODERN THING ON A TRADITIONAL BOW.PERSONALLY I THINK FUNCTION SHOULD DICTATE DESIGN SO ON MY MODERN AMERICAN LONGBOW WITH THE FIBERGLASS BACK AND BELLY I'VE PUT RUBBER SLIMJAX AND I THINK IT LOOKS GREAT.BOTTOM LINE SLIMJAX TO THE MAX.HAVE FUN.

        I tried these based on the reviews on this site. They have completely eliminated any vibration from my Howard Hill Longbow. I know it says they were desined for thin limbed compounds or recurves, but they work great on my Longbow. I installed them about an inch and a half from the fades and Wow! Vibration Free! I use these in conjunction with the Ultra II string silencers, and My bow is so quiet, all I hear is the string slipping off my glove and the arrow hitting the target.

        I purchased this product along with the bowjax string silencers, and I am very impressed with their effectiveness. After silencing the string, I still had some very noticeable limb noise. I placed these limb jax about an inch and a half from the fade outs on my 56" long bow, and what a difference! The bow is now whisper quiet, and has very little hand shock! These products have taken a bow that was very loud and snappy and difficult to shoot, and turned it into a quiet smooth pleasure to shoot. I now have tighter groups, and more consistent follow through due to the new shooter friendly mannerisms of the bow. A word of caution: they will change the tune of your bow! I now require a different arrow set up than prior to installation. Other than that, and their non-traditional look on a long bow, I am very satisfied!!! And 3R service and shipping is second to none.
