Nylon is a tough material and the stitching is good. You should be aware that there is no padding. It's a great value for less than $8. It will provide protection against minor rubs and scratches and weather but if you like a little more cushion, go for the 3Rivers polyester/fleece, the polar fleece or the Neet sleeves.
