            I really don't like or use stringers except in one specific case: I recently purchased a Howard Hill 70lb longbow and while I normally use the step through method - this particular bow began to roll as i tried to bend it. Of course, I stopped and tried again, no luck. That being said, I HAD to get a stringer. It's still a hard pull, but better than NOT being able to string it. The step through method was actually shown to me as a child by Papa Bear himself in Oak Park, Il. at a local archery store.

                            Archery hasn't changed too much for me since I started shooting with my hickory longbow back in 1963. I have tied several stringing techniques and a few bow-stringers. This is definitely the perfect stringer, it works great, light weight and solid construction materials Get this stringer and you will not be sorry
