      Having most of the times problems with most of arrow rests n plates and considering a previous reviewer's idea İ used this product as an arrow n rest plate. The result is absolutely super. As it is a very big piece for this purpose, your piece is exactly as big (or small) as per your choice,the rest can be used on several other bows. After shooting over 1000 arrows it is still as newly set on my bow and it is silent.

        I've used these twice, for bows that came with a simple wood grip that seemed a bit small. Each time I put a narrow leather shim on the belly side of the wood grip and wrapped this product all the way around, overlapping on the back side of the grip. Feels perfect!

          Update May 15,2012..I cannot beleive how well this leather works for a side plate and rest! Helen shoots at least 1000 shots per week..She is still using the first rest and side plate I put on her bow back in January 2012. I have put it on 3 of my bows so far..as a hunter I'm really picky about noise on the draw. I am happy with the performance and quietness of this material.

          For the last 4 years I have been making my own rests and side plates from a manmade material. It worked good but it just didn't last as long as leather. My fiance Helen shoots at least 5 days per week and well over a hundred arrows per pratice session..she was wearing out my homemade rests and side plates quickly..well I was tired of replaceing them, I Bought a piece of this adhesive backed leather (and some other items) and it still looks great after about 2000 arrows! I thank you for the quick shipping, I ordered it late in the day and had it in 3 days. thanks, Robert
