        Comments about BowJax Gel Grip Strips:

        This was bought to ease the grip on an aluminum riser. The gel was too soft to the touch and It became slippery from perspiration. The finish on it started to change texture with use.

        I replaced it with a wrap for a tennis racquet grip made of a material that was thick enough to cushion the bowhand and just tacky enough to give a firm grip. The material also wicked off perspiration.

          I RECENTLEY GOT A LONGBOW AND EVEN THOUGH THE GRIP IS ROUNDED AND WELL FORMED WHEN I PULL THE BOW BACK INTO MY HAND THERE IS A PRESSURE POINT ON THE FIRST KNUCLE OF MY THUMB THAT HURTS.SO I PUT ABOUT A 1 1/2" PIECE WHERE THE WEB OF THE THUMB AND IST. KNUCKLE OF THE THUMB ARE.ALSO I FOUND WHEN I PULLED, THE BOW GRIP DID NOT FILL THE SPACE WHERE THE HEEL OF MY HAND IS SO I PUT A 1" PIECE THERE.PERFECT. PERFECT.WHEN I PULL THE BOW THERE IS NO PAIN IN THE KNUCKLE.THE GRIP FILLS MY HAND COMFORTABLY. THERE IS NO TORQUING.THE GEL IS EASY TO CUT AND SHAPE WITH SCISSORS.THE GEL ALMOST FEELS STICKY BUT IT'S NOT--IN OTHER WORDS IT DOES NOT SLIP.THIS IS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT.YOU CAN TAYLOR FIT YOUR GRIP TO YOUR HAND PLUS IT IS SOFT.BOTTOM LINE THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE GRIP MATERIAL I'VE EVER SEEN.
