    I shoot Many Bow's I have this On ALL OF THEM. I also Shoot HUNDREDS of arrows per day, It does NOT wear out. The Rug on the Bow I shoot the most has been there for 3 years and is just now needing to be replaced and they give you enough for 3+uses. the leather strike plate will NEVER need to be replaced. Seriously Dont waste your time with other rest / plate combos

    I had this added to the bow, when I bought it. It comes recommended, as you will want something to both protect the bow, and keep the arrow true. I had this set up on the bow before purchase, as part of their setup. I was unfamiliar with how to set this up, so I figured this was the best way to do it. It keeps the arrows nice & quiet, and, to my inexperienced eye, keeps them true on the rest. I recommend something to put on the rest for the bow, and this seemed to fit the bill. Overall, I recommend the product, as it does exactly as described. And, it adds a nice little touch of color to the bow as well. Its lightweight, and doesnt affect the bow at all, even when wet.

          I was given an old recurve by a neighbor but the rest and leather plate was worn down, so I got this. After shooting with it for a while it hasn't even shown signs of fatigue. The only bad thing I can see about it is that when you cut it to the riser's size the sides become a little frayed because it is carpet. Over all, the sides fraying isn't a problem and the rest plate holds up great.

                This product works as advertised. It helps my arrows clear the shelf better and has held up to around 600 arrows with very little visable wear. I shoot a 50 lb hickory self bow that I made that is 1/8 from center with a shelf.

                  I bought these as for spare parts for my Bear recurve bow. I have not installed them but they appear to be identical to the factory installed parts. The bear hair rest will need to be trimmed to fit your bow, the strike plate will attach without any modifications.
