      The information is good and easy to follow, but there was too much "fluff" that didn't need to be there. And I felt like the DVD cost a bit too much.

      3Rivers is a solid outfit, and I own a Diamond Tomahawk, which is a fine bow. Having said that, I found this particular instructional DVD to be way below par. There seem to be lot of overlooked construction details, a clumsy presentation, and too much chummy promo stuff. Truth is, you can find better instructions for free with a good Google search.

      Back to the drawing board with this one.

            Viewed the DVD three times and still did not "get it". A better video angle and close ups would have helped. I would not recommend this to a novice.

                        The Video was incomplete. I expected to see information on making Flemish Bowstrings using 2 Ply and 3 Ply techniques. They introduced that you could make 3 ply strings but failed to show it. Glossed over critical details. I had to closely watch the fingers to figure out that twist the bundles away from you before rotate the top bundle over the bottom bundle toward you. I felt that this important detail deserved more emphasis.

                          I used this product to learn how to make my owm bow string. The DVD was well laid out, east to understand and informative. After having watched the DVD only once I was able to construct a reasonabley good string with no trouble. I really liked the way the man in the video explained everything in clear easy to follow directions. Now that I have watched the DVD many times I am very confident in my ability to make bow strings. This product was a good buy for me and I would recomend it to anyone interested in learning how to build their owm bow strings. My only regret is that I had not ordered sooner. Thanks for supplying such a great product.

                            The part of the video showing Flemish string making was quite well done. However, too much of the time of the video was spent on 3Rivers promotional material. For example, making three-strand strings could have been shown; more detail on setting lengths for loops etc. might have been as well, instead of the promo material. I was not pleased to find I'd spent my money in part to purchase a vendor's self-promotion.

                                      This is a great video. I watched twice along with "how to build a great bowsting" (also from 3rivers)and built my first Flemish string within an hour. I will continue to watch it more, to pick up some of the finer detail.

                                              The video was more of an advertisment for 3 Rivers than it was informative. The video breezed over the string jig and was not to informative. Spend your time researching the internet to get better info. Sorry 3 Rivers, but this video was not very helpful.

                                                  If filmed from pouint of view it might of been helpful. Most of video wasn't about actual building which it flew through. There are clearer instructions on internet if you hunt around.
