These strings are great. I bought one for my recurve and was concerned it might be loud on the release but it was quiet.The string didn't stretch so I didn't have to fool with the nocking point once I found the right spot. Great string, I will buy more in the future.

String performs well, served too thin

The string fit the bow perfectly, but the Serving was way too thin. My arrow would literally fall straight down the string. I tried three style of nocks, with same results. I called 3Rivers and was told to wrap it in dental floss, told it was no big deal. I did that, but it wore out really quickly (30-ish shots). So I ended up having to re-serve it right away. Not really happy. Especially with follow up call where I was basically told I didn't know what I was talking about. I had three guys with 15+ years experience tuning bows all tell me the same thing, "The serving is too thin."

    Ordered this for my Samick Sage. Bow was 62", so I ordered the 58" string. String fit perfectly and was a big improvement over the stock dacron string that the bow came with. I'd highly recommend as the Samick Sage is FF compatible and it makes a noticable improvement.

                      I purchased this on the recommendation of 3rivers for my samick sage. I had read one review online that mentioned that the string had arrived in the mail frayed, but due to the number of positive reviews I decided to purchase it anyways. Unfortunately, my string also arrived frayed. I had hoped it was just superficial, but the upper loop has frayed more and more through regular/light use and is now hanging together by a thread. I waxed the string regularly also. I've really enjoyed the string while it lasted, I just wish it lasted me longer than one month.

                            purchased this string to go with the samick sage i also bought, the string that comes with the sage pretty much sucks ,really thick dacron( 16 strands) shot fine though and after tuning in the brace height was whisper quiet and had decent speed but i was hoping to take advantage of the fact that the sage was FF compatible and should also mention that i had originally ordered the laser string to go with it, the serving on the laser string is also really thin and my nocks would not seat properly without some kind of alteration on my part ie. dental floss or double serving the area where the arrow and my fingers go but i don't want to buy something and have to fiddle with it and i'm using easton x nocks if that helps both of these string have really thin servings they should really offer double served strings

                              this string makes a world of difference. its hard for me to even use a bow that doesn't have this string on it. the tregery falls half as much at 30 yards.
