    I've used these for years and they work great. There is an audible "snap" upon release but it is minor. The low price makes these a great value. For easy installation, use a 4 inch zip tie around the bow string and Cat Whisker, then trim the excess.

              I used this on old 47# recurve that uses a Dacron string. I also used the brush buttons (which are a very good product). In combination with the buttons and whiskers, this really quieted down the bow. I can now hear the arrow flying along (My next stealth project is to work on making the arrow guieter). Does not affect arrow speed and least from what I can tell. I tried the tie-on method described in video (tying the Cat Whisker around the string didn't work for me). I took some serving from an old string and tied it on with that. This has held very well. I have shot with it on the string a couple of hundred times and I do not see wear on the Cat Whiskers yet. Works great in the rain, does not soak up water like other products. My install does not look like the picture (not as pretty), yet it functions as described.

                            These are great! I put them on my Fuse Intrepid as well as my Blackhawk Scorpion. Both bows, especially the Fuse, used to be really loud and now they are both totally silent. I hear the string coming off of the glove, and then the arrow hitting the bag, thats it! This is really helpful, as the stumps i typically shoot were often jumping at the twang of the bows, now they dont hear the bow at all!
                            I folded them in thirds and then used b-50 tied in lots of overhand knots, alternating from one side to the other. I think this made them work even better as they were more dense and shorter, about an inch in diameter. In my opinion they also look much neater.
