Leather String Keeper is fully traditional. When you use it you have the feeling of something made ages ago in hand and although the leather looks a bit poor quality but soft and gentle to the bow, it makes the expected duty.

It looks nice but the leather strap broke on the first use. Better quality leather would have made it a great product.

Comments about Leather String Keeper:

This keeps the bowstring from sliding down the upper limb of a longbow when unstrung. I like the simplicity; no buttons or anything to break, scratch, or get caught on something. It would be nicer if made with a higher quality leather and finish. It works great, especially when pulling the bow out of a sock. With this and a tip protector, your string will never flop around or come loose when unstrung.
