Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I bought this bow to get back into archery. I love it. It is light weight and easy to carry. Not too difficult to draw and shoots smooth to me. I use it for practice and hunting. It is a very beautiful, well crafted bow. I don't think one could go wrong purchasing it. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is not as forgiving as my longbow.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I sold my compound looking to get into traditional archery. This bow was exactly what i was looking for. Powerful, fast and lots of fun to shoot!! I cant wait for fall to arrive so I can take this bow into the deer stand. If you are looking for a one piece recurve that has beauty, power and speed look no further! Trust me, trade in your compound and get one!!!

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I will be using this bow for stump shooting, small game and whitetail. As such the small imperfections in the finish are not important to me. The draw is as smooth and non-stacking as my other Martin bow. The grip fits my XL hand which is great for me but might be of some concern for those of smaller hand. Out of the box, ready to go AND beautiful. Well worth the purchase price.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

Smooth, fast, no vibration. I bought the Hunter in 60#. I practiced pulling it back (no dry fire) for a couple months before even buying arrows. I wanted to get my anchor point correct and be able to hold it back for at least 30 seconds. That exercise paid off. I can go through about 100 arrows before getting fatigued. I paired it up with heritage 350's at 31" with 50 grain inserts and 200 grain field points. My length of pull is 29.5". The arrows at 15 yards completely bury themselves in the yellow jacket bag. If I miss they hit the plywood behind it and the field point is almost impossible to remove. So far I am enjoying this bow and would recommend it to anyone. I would not recommend anyone trying to jump into archery on a 60# bow though, when I first got it I realized quickly that being strong in the weight room has nothing to do with pulling a bow back. Different muscles are used, especially the stabilizing ones.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I bought this bow as I am getting older and not ready to give up hunting. I had been using a shorter bow with a heavier pull weight and just was getting to the point where I could not handle it. The Martin Hunter with it's 62 inch length in forty pound weight is just perfect for me and I plan on using it for years.

I have wanted this bow for years, but couldn't get it outside the US. i finally had one custom made and shipped to me before ever shooting it. This bow is the most beautiful thing i've ever owned!! lightning fast, quiet, smooth and accurate, blows away many higher priced bows. My first recurve, and if i never own another i'll be happy. i look forward to having it at my side for many years.

AT PRESENT I OWN THIRTEEN BOWS.THIS IS THE ONE I SHOOT.I'VE GOT A 45 POUNDER.I CAN HOLD IT ALL DAY.
MARTINS GRIPS ARE SO ERGONOMIC THAT WHEN I PULL IT BACK INTO THE HEEL OF MY HAND THERE IS NO PRESSURE POINT.I HAVE TWO MARTINS AND THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOWS I HAVE AT FULL DRAW.ALSO MY DRAW IS 27AND7/8"AND AT THAT DRAW LENGTH THIS 62" BOW GIVES NO STACKING AND IS EXTREMELY SMOOTH TO DRAW.THIS BOW HAS A BRACE HEIGHT OF 7 AND 3/4"THIS MEANS IT WILL NOT SLAP YOU.I BRACE MINE AT 8" WHICH HELPS REDUCE PARADOX SLIGHTLY AND I JUST HATE DRAGGING A STRING DOWN MY SLEEVE AND DROPPING A SHOT.DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR THIS BOW CAN'T BE BEAT.THIS IS A REAL WORKING BOW.GET OUT THERE AND HAVE SOME FUN.
                  BOTTOM LINE --------I BOUGHT ONE.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

i bought this bow about 2 months ago. This is my first recurve and i am new to archery with some tips from the older guys at 10-15 yds i have seen my groups improve. Also the comments on how nice the bow looks and how quite it is are great to hear also. I would highly suggest this bow to recurve shooters. Also if you have a long draw its perfect. i have a 29 and half in draw and the bow is overall a great product
