Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

The Hunter is great, 50# draw, and I also have a Mamba 45# draw. Both are excellent bows. The bow stringer which was included with the Hunter left a lot to be desired. Very hard to string.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

Bought this bow after getting tired of my Samick Sage, read nothing but good reviews about the Hunter and Martin so I was lucky enough to find on new on eBay for half the price. I absolutely love this bow beautifully made, light hard hitting. I have the 50#@28" and with 30.5" draw this bow is strong and fast!!!

Just bares haft tuned xx75 gamegetters and the 340 spine at full length fly like darts out of this bow. At the range I always get compliments on how awesome the bow looks. The musk ox silencers and a 3rivers quiver I have on there complete the look. Looking forward to hunting for my first time ever with this bow and my first harvest to be with a trad bow!!!!

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I have a 1964 model Hunter that I shoot everyday. A 50 year old bow non fast flight. I'm still shooting it because I have yet to find a bow that shoots better. Smooth, accurate, and fast. I would like to try a new model someday. Hunters are tough to beat. Give one a try, you won't be dissapointed.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I bought this bow to get back into archery. I love it. It is light weight and easy to carry. Not too difficult to draw and shoots smooth to me. I use it for practice and hunting. It is a very beautiful, well crafted bow. I don't think one could go wrong purchasing it. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is not as forgiving as my longbow.

I sold my compound looking to get into traditional archery. This bow was exactly what i was looking for. Powerful, fast and lots of fun to shoot!! I cant wait for fall to arrive so I can take this bow into the deer stand. If you are looking for a one piece recurve that has beauty, power and speed look no further! Trust me, trade in your compound and get one!!!

I purchased the 55# @ 28" model of this bow here at 3rivers. Accurate, powerful, very quiet and quite nice looking to boot. I love shooting this thing so much I am considering selling my compound and going all traditional.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I will be using this bow for stump shooting, small game and whitetail. As such the small imperfections in the finish are not important to me. The draw is as smooth and non-stacking as my other Martin bow. The grip fits my XL hand which is great for me but might be of some concern for those of smaller hand. Out of the box, ready to go AND beautiful. Well worth the purchase price.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

Smooth, fast, no vibration. I bought the Hunter in 60#. I practiced pulling it back (no dry fire) for a couple months before even buying arrows. I wanted to get my anchor point correct and be able to hold it back for at least 30 seconds. That exercise paid off. I can go through about 100 arrows before getting fatigued. I paired it up with heritage 350's at 31" with 50 grain inserts and 200 grain field points. My length of pull is 29.5". The arrows at 15 yards completely bury themselves in the yellow jacket bag. If I miss they hit the plywood behind it and the field point is almost impossible to remove. So far I am enjoying this bow and would recommend it to anyone. I would not recommend anyone trying to jump into archery on a 60# bow though, when I first got it I realized quickly that being strong in the weight room has nothing to do with pulling a bow back. Different muscles are used, especially the stabilizing ones.

Comments about Martin 62" Hunter Recurve:

I bought this bow as I am getting older and not ready to give up hunting. I had been using a shorter bow with a heavier pull weight and just was getting to the point where I could not handle it. The Martin Hunter with it's 62 inch length in forty pound weight is just perfect for me and I plan on using it for years.
