My son loves the bow. It came with out an arrow notch for the string. Called customer service, still have not heard back.

I bounce between hobbies, I admit it. So when I first considered archery and did the research I decided that a bow as beautiful as the Mamba could be framed on my wall as a piece of art even if I didn't use it. I bought in in March and haven't put it down since. I also bought a HOYT Carbon Matrix, basically the stealth bomber of bows, but it isn't nearly as meaningful and gratifying to shoot. The Mamba is an object of great beauty and deadly effectiveness. Do not hesitate to buy this bow.

really attractive bow fits in my hand perfectly and is extremly well balanced. Very smooth draw, and shoots arrows lightning fast. I am returning to recurves after many years of compound shooting and this thing shoots like a dream shooting 3" groups my first time out at 20 yards. my draw length is 27.5 (it is a short bow so some stacking may occur at long draw lengths)can't wait till this fall to take this baby out in the field for whitetails. Highly recommend this bow.

i live in england,and would recamend anyone buying from another country buys a flight case like i did,remember three rivers can not take responsability for your own country postal service,and you wont be disapointed.the bow looked amazing and feels good in my hand,well balanced,once i set it up,it shot sweet and fast,i felt like i could not miss(i did) i dont see how anyone could get a better bow,for twice the price,martin have got the look bang on,being a quiet person,i dont go in for the loud bow,you know the ones,great big words down the limbs telling the world what you are shooting,well done martin for making a fantastic bow,and well done three rivers for a fantastice service.

I can't say enough about the Mamba. Light, fast, accurate and really good looking. The grip fits my hand perfectly. It is my "go to" hunting bow. You could spend more on a 'custom' bow, but I doubt you'd find any better performance. Martin/Howatt is making the best bows around for the money, imo (I also have a Savannah which is another excellent example of Martin/Howatt craftsmanship).

This is the first brand new recurve I bought back in 1995. It is worth its weight in gold. I am a believer in making tools work for me , this bow has been dropped to bottom of river (bow fishing ) and dragged through woods with deer it is a good light maneuveralbe bow, and performs year after year still looks new too,with few small scratches.

well, i jusy got my Mamba in a few days ago and setting up the bow for a first time traditional archer was easy as can be with all the help from 3Rivers Archery and all the excellent products they carry. i got this bow in 55#@28" and it draws back like a dream and hits like a mule! im not sure if i'll ever pick up my compound bow again!! thanks, 3RA

I use my bow for years and fell in love with it the first time I/ve seen it being shot at the winter olympics.
I attend mediveal archery tournaments and this bow does the job. It is so much fun and it looks great. Never let me down.
I recommend the investment. You will not be disappointed.

I`ve been shooting a Martin Hunter for years now and hasn`t let me down. So when i wanted a faster, shorter one piece bow to better suit my draw length, i opted for the Mamba. I wasn`t dis-appointed. Bow construction and finish is exceptional with a nicely laminated riser complimenting it`s beautiful lines.
The bow is fast and pleasent to shoot, quiet too, without the need for string silencers. I really love this bow. All in all a fantastic bow with custom looks and a production price tag. Highly recommended. Martin/Damon Howatt are at the top of their game, blowing the competition away. Thanks to 3 Rivers for their speedy delivery before christmas!

Ordered my bow and received great help from Art. Bow is more than I expected for the price..Although UPS couldn't find my house on the first attempted delivery, all else went great.
Got the bow and it not only looks beautiful but shoots fast and powerful.Art set it up and had to make no changes. I can tell I am going to enjoy this bow alot.
Very light and the 3555 Gold Tip Tradtional arrows fly like darts.
