Firearms and survival instructor by trade with no archery experience. I wanted to get as close to primitive as possible without boiling dead rabbits and twisting sinew.

This bow is excellent. I've owned it for a year now, taken it through the bush and shot the heck out of it (all target. I'm not ready to hunt with a bow, yet.)

I'm sure there are better bows out there, but I'm very very happy with what I got for the price.

Excellent bamboo bow for the price! SMOOTH DRAW! Excellent accuracy and balance. I was wanting a Howard Hill bamboo but decided to take a chance on this bow and WOW! Got a Great bamboo bow for half the price of a Howard Hill. Accurate, with no hand shock. Love the Bible inscription!

This is a well executed bow, though primitive is an appropriate description. It also has a handwritten biblical inscription on the limb I DO NOT appreciate- and of which, I wish I had been aware before purchasing... I would not have purchased this bow had I known about it before hand.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Merchant response: To remove the writing we suggest the following: Use a Q-tip and acetone and gently rub the writing right off. After the writing is off, use a simple water base polyurathane to seal over the area. If you do not have acetone, try over-the-counter isoprolip or rubbing alcohol. We advise against sanding it off as if you go too deep you risk creating a "hing" in the tiller of the bow.
