I've had the Tomahawk Desert Fox for about 2 weeks now. I got a 65# @ 28in 62" model.

Out of the box... it's gorgeous! And there is no need for any other camoflage.

65# threatened to over-bow me. I was a little concerned. I knew I could pull it, but comfortably? Repeatedly? Well, we'd see. I strung this bow up and gave it a whirl. Just a hair heavier than was probably wise, but I shot about 50 arrows the first day out and simulated various hunting postures and am now confident that I will adjust without issue, as long as I keep practicing. Bow muscles, my friends! :)

I got the 62" model in order to strike a balance between "not too long" and "not too short". 62" seems to be just fine. If I were just target shooting, I would recommend 64" for the most comfort and stability.

I have taken the bow out and shot it on maybe 5 occasions now. I am very pleased. The only issue I have is that it has more "umph" than any of the other bows I have and sometimes does a pass-thru on my primary target! Ha! Nice problem to have.

It's smooth. I notice no stacking (I actually pull to 27" normally) and is accurate. I bought this bow to be a backup to my 55# selfbow and as a strengthening instrument, but I can see me taking this out on the 1st day of the next deer hunting next season.

My wife gave it a whirl as well (about 26" draw) and though overbowed she was able to have fun with it for a few shots (she's a strong lady).

Did I say it was gorgeous too? :)

Arthritis had me giving up the joy of archery, until the deseret fox came along. It is not only beautiful but very easy on my shoulders. It is a sweet heart.

This bow arrived today and all I can say is wow! I took the bow out of the tube, bow includes bow sock, selway stringer and to top it off the bow came with nock installed and bow set to brace height. When I strung the bow and shot my first arrows it was incredible the bow was tuned so well with my arrows I did not adjust it at all. I shot GT 5575# @29.5" with standard insert and 175 grain points arrow weight 485 grains with 5" feathers flew perfect. I then shot my POC 29" arrows @ 55-59# spine with 5" feathers 145 Grain point, 535 grain arrow weight it was pretty good flight but would need fine tuning. I know these are completely different in specs but the bow performed very well right out of the box. My bow is 56#@28 inches and is 64" model. Beautiful bow, Diamond models must be incredible but I am very pleased with my purchase. Great buy well worth the money. My delivery was delayed but Art, and the others at 3 Rivers handled my complaint in a professional manner and made things right. Great team and great product.

I am a beginner with long bows and I plan to use it for hunting. I do build furniture, and this bow is a beauty. Well constructed and seems to be all weather. After about 200 arrows I am getting groups about 5". It took more than that with a compound. I would say it is very accurate. Very quiet, and easy to pull at 55#. Being left handed I don't usually get good deals with bows, this Desert Fox however is a steal at the price. Buy one and you will be very happy

I have always used either recurves or compounds. This has really changed my mind about longbows. I can't wait to buy the Diamond series with the carbon core. I have always thought longbows were sluggish and full of hand shock. Not this bow! It really shoots like everyone is saying. I was real sceptical, but not anymore!

First I want to thank the staff at 3Rivers Archery for helping me with my decision. I have owned many traditional style bows and this one has them all by far. I have built bows and bought bows and none of them hold a candle to this one. Super Fast, Hard Hitting and accurate. It out shoots my fastest re curve and holds tighter groups. I will Never Go To another line of bows for hunting purposes unless it was made by the same hard working people as this one. I could not be more happy with my purchase I would suggest this bow or one from this line of bows to anyone.
