    First, I've shot the Dalaa for 3 yrs and have always very much liked the wood-core limbs, killing animals from warthogs & turkeys to trophy whitetials. They are among the best wood core limbs I've ever used.

    The foam-core carbon limbs are claimed to provide 6-7 fps more at same draw weight as standard Dalaa limbs. In indoor chrono tests with clicker set up, I've been getting 7-9 fps boost at same draw weight (56 lbs), arrow weight (524 gr) and draw length (27"). That's a 5% jump in efficiency!

    Put another way, I could drop nearly 3 lbs in draw weight and still get same speed as wood core Dalaa limbs. While the all-weather consistency is a great attribute (especially for the traveling bowhunter), maximizing every ounce of performance potential is the big benefit in my mind, ESPECIALLY if you have a short draw length.

    In complete fairness, the foam core carbon limbs are a bit more aggressively recurved than the wood core limbs, but so what -- they allow me to optimize overall performance and extract maximum efficiency from the platform with no perceived "draw feel" penalty. My independent tests show "better than advertised" speed. Can't ask for more than that. Go with the camo upgrade as the black limbs (like I have) are a bit too shiney for hunting.

      What a great set of limbs. I have the foam core limbs I am very impressed they don't stack very smooth to draw I can shoot the bow all day and not wear myself out . very comfortable . I have owned one of the top brand target bows and the Dalaa limbs are much better to shoot by far. I have always said if your bow is hurting you then you have the wrong bow . with these limbs on my bow I cant seem to put it down and maybe thats because Im an archery junkie as well.

                  I HAVE 3 SETS OF DALAA LIMBS.TO CHANGE THEM JUST SLIDE THEM IN.I USE THE MAPLE LIMBS
                  AND REGULARLY HAVE PEOPLE SAYING MY BOW SEEMS FASTER THAN THEIRS.MAINLY I USE MY 40 POUNDER.GUYS SAY ONLY 40LB. BUT IT'S SO FAST.I USE THE 21 INCH RISER FOR A 66 INCH BOW.NO FINGER PINCH WHAT SO EVER. BOW VERY SMOOTH,VERY FAST,VERY COMFORTABLE,AND LETS ME BE VERY ACCURATE.I'VE USED THEM FROM 90 DEGREES TO -7 DEGREES IN SUN,RAIN,FOG,AND SNOW WITH GOOD EFFECT.
                  I NO LONGER CALL THEM LIMBS,I CALL THEM WINGS.FUNCTION DICTATES FORM.THE DALAA IS BEAUTIFUL.AND WHAT ABOUT THE FOAM WINGS.
                  INCREDIBLE I GUESS.THEY SAY THEY'RE EVEN FASTER.

                    This is my second set of Dalaa limbs for my 17" riser. I needed to up my draw weight for an upcoming elk hunt, Instead of getting a new bow, all I had to do was add limbs. I use this bow for anything from field American rounds, 3-D, to deer and pig hunting. I can switch limbs without having to reset nocking points. This bow shoots as fast at 3 lbs less as my other bows do. A very versitile bow.
