    I have two sets of #55 limbs and use them exclusively for bow fishing have found them to be accurate & powerful. Unfortunately i have broken two limbs the second one less then a week after I got it! I do not mishandle or drop my bow & it does not seem to be a lamination problem as there is wood visible on both sides of the brake. Is my draw too long, or what might be the problem here?

      Purchased a 62" Sage w/ 40# draw weight limbs. This for target, indoor range in the barn, 20 yds. Getting back into archery after 50 yrs. I'm 65 yrs old, and need to work up to 40# draw weight. Left elbow and shoulder get sore (Like tendonitis).

      The easy solution is 25# limbs. These work at 20 yds just fine, easier on the shoulders, elbows, AND the lighter draw improves form on target. Extra limbs is like owning several bows!

      Fit of limbs to riser is precise. Hardware is solid, one-piece STEEL knobs on the riser bolts, solid steel sockets in the limbs. Riser bracket for limbs is precise, exact, solid.

      The Samick Sage has a well earned industry reputation for being the best value in an entry grade bow. They're very solid, well made, no shortcuts in materials or design. And very nice looking too!

            Purchased a 50 lb. Samick Recurve...I was shooting in my garage (about35') and missed my target...went straight through the back door of the garage! I purchased the 35 lb. limbs for use inside so hopefully if I miss again I won't put another hole in the door! I've shot thousands of arrows with these limbs so far and am completely satisfied with this purchase

                I am a newbee in archery and purchased a Samick Sage to get me started. It came with 50# limbs and the only problem with them are that we shoot in my garage and if you miss the target and hit the garage door the arrow will go completely through the door and strip the fletchings completely off! I know that the easy remedy would be to NOT miss the target....lol. The new limbs still provide plenty of power at 40' (the length of my garage) and doesn't provide enough force to completely penetrate the door now. When spring hits I'll switch back over to the 50# limbs that came with the bow...and fix all the holes from winter in the door. These also allow others to use my bow that can't pull back the 50#.

                        Upgraded from the 45# limbs to 50# for my son. Great fit & power. My son is obsessed with bowhunting and shooting his Samick recurve. Honestly he wears out things faster than Dad can replace them. He has shot the bow daily for about 2 years and has not destroyed it, I wish I could say the same about his compound. We only upgraded the limbs for more power.
